Caring for your Jullian
Your Jullian easel is made to the highest standards from the best quality materials and should not require a great deal of maintenance. In fact some might argue that age and the inevitable paint splashes add to the character.
After normal use
- Wipe down with a damp cloth
- Check fittings
- Do not polish the brass fittings which are protected by a clear lacquer
Once a year
- Wipe the easel with a rag and linseed oil - do not over-oil, a light film which will be absorbed by the wood is all that is required
- Check all the fittings to ensure they are functioning correctly
- Leather straps and accessories can be treated with a leather preservative such as Hide Food
- Check all screws are tight
